Girona Coasteering Costa Brava
Adventure Girona invites you to explore coasteering along the rugged Costa Brava coastline in Catalonia. On Fenals beach, just outside Lloret de Mar—about 40 minutes from Girona and 70 minutes from Barcelona—this route is perfect for your first plunge into the world of coasteering.
We’ll walk along cliff edges, jump from dramatic heights into the sea, and swim through natural coves, following the line where land and ocean meet. As we progress, you’ll discover hidden grottos, rocky shelves, and marine life shaped by centuries of wind and wave erosion.
Thanks to the warm Mediterranean waters of the Costa Brava, the experience is both thrilling and comfortable. In summer, water temperatures sit between 20º and 25º, so we equip adults with shorty 2.5 mm wetsuits—armless and legless for maximum freedom to swim. Children wear 5 mm wetsuits with arms to keep them warm while still allowing full mobility.
This coasteering tour is ideal for families, birthday groups, bachelor parties, and team‑building outings. No prior experience is needed, just a sense of adventure and the ability to swim.
The activity is suitable for anyone over 10 years old who can swim; minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Please note that cancellations at the last minute do not exempt participants from paying the full activity fee.
SEASON: This activity runs from June to September.
DIFFICULTY: Beginner level; suitable for people of varying fitness levels who are comfortable in water.
ADVENTURERS: Open to everyone who can swim and is over 10 years old. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
MEETING POINT: Fenals beach - View Map
MEETING TIME: 8:00 and 15:00. Morning sessions are especially recommended: the sea is flat, the route is less crowded, and free public parking is still available outside the blue‑zone area at that time.
PARKING: Same location as the activity start point.
DURATION: 4 hours from meet‑up to farewell (briefing and equipment distribution 30 minutes, access 5 minutes, active coasteering in the water 2 hours, return 10 minutes).
EQUIPMENT: Bring a swimsuit, closed‑toe sneakers, towel, and spare clothes and shoes for the journey home.

Group of 2–3 people: 60 euros per person
Group of 4+ people: 45 euros per person
The final price is adjusted based on the number of people who actually join the activity. If a customer decides not to take part once the activity has started, the full amount is still due.

What is included in the price: All essential gear (wetsuit, harness, and helmet), a qualified guide, an action photographic report, and civil liability plus accident insurance.
As a special thank‑you for your time with us, Adventure Girona offers a FREE refreshments session at the end of the activity for all participants.
