Experience Thrilling Canyoning Riera Osor Adventure
Discover the breathtaking Riera d'Osor canyon, nestled in the heart of the Guilleries region in Girona, Spain. This picturesque canyon offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and adrenaline-pumping challenges, featuring cascading waterfalls, crystal-clear pools, and narrow gorges that create an unforgettable canyoning experience suitable for both beginners and experienced adventurers.
When: June to September each year, with meeting points at 8:30 AM and 3:00 PM in Angles. The activity is located just 20 minutes from Girona and 75 minutes from Barcelona, making it easily accessible for day trips.
Difficulty: Initial Level 1 (Beginner-friendly on a 0-4 scale). This accessible difficulty makes it especially suitable for families, first-timers, and groups of friends wanting their introduction to canyoning while still delivering excitement and beautiful scenery.
Price: Starting from 50 euros per person for groups of 4 or more. Groups of 2-3 people pay 65 euros per person. The price includes all necessary professional equipment (wetsuit, harness, helmet), qualified certified guide, photographic report, civil liability insurance, and accident insurance. Requirements: Participants must be able to swim and be over 8 years of age. Bring a swimsuit, closed sneakers that can get wet, towel, and spare clothes for the return journey.
Duration: Half Day – approximately 4 hours total from meeting to farewell (30 minutes presentation and equipment delivery, 2 minutes access, 2 hours in-water activity, 10 minutes return). The actual canyoning experience in the water lasts 2 hours of pure adventure.
