Aventura Girona invites you to discover through this Via Ferrata the Costa Brava of Catalonia, The Cala Molí via ferrata is located in the town of Sant Feliu de Guíxols, in the province of Girona (half an hour from Girona and one hour from Barcelona).
It is the only via ferrata in Europe located so close to the sea with a length of 480 meters, in fact, all the activity will be carried out right in front of the Mediterranean Sea. If you are in the area you cannot miss this unique experience of discovering the Costa Brava in an unique and active way.
Difficulty level: 1 Beginner-Advanced level section / 2 medium level section.
This via ferrata requires a minimum of physical condition, it is not difficult but it is not advised for beginners. It has 2 sections. The first leg is a K2 and the second leg is a K4 on the Hüsler scale.
The first section with a flanking and a passage will make us enjoy the adventure, without a high difficulty. The second section, more demanding than the previous one, more aerial is made, in some sections, at 28 meters high, (it is necessary not to have dizzinesses), will allow us to enjoy a unique experience. That, always with total security.
At all times the guide will be helping and giving support to safely face the progression of the via ferrata for all participants.
If someone on the first section of the via ferrata does not want to continue there are different ways to leave the via ferrata. Also before starting the 2nd section, if there are people who do not want to continue, they can leave or if the guide for the participant's safety advises them not to continue. Once the 2nd section begins there is no possibility of escape and the via ferrata has to be finished.
We carry out the activity with small groups, 1 qualified guide will carry 6, maximum 8 clients.
Adventure Girona is committed to carrying out the via ferrata activity with small groups, in this way our work is easier and allows us to ensure that all participants are attended and advised at all times throughout the route. The guide knows the via ferrata in detail and will always be located in those most complicated points of the via ferrata, giving support and facilitating the progression of the participants.
It is necessary to have a minimum height of 1.55 meters.

ADVENTURERS: From 12 years of age up; minimum height of 155 cm. Minors have to be under the supervision of an adult.

Because of continuous complaints of neighbours residing near the activity point, the city hall has asked the companies that organize the event to direct their customers to use the public cpark in the Sant Feliu harbour situated here: https://goo.gl/maps/XxTMXGoPpyBgy1ft6.
From this point to Sicilia street, where the guide’s car will be parked, there is a 10 minutes’ walk through the GR-92. The guide will be parked on Sicilia street, near the Mirador de las Triadores https://goo.gl/maps/2YzGjYsBEBbHUBzF8.
Shortly, parking will be possible just for residents and company cars that host the event. Whoever parks there may be fined 300 €.
DURATION: The duration of the activity varies depending on the schedule chosen: 8:00 duration 2-3 hours, 12:00 duration 4 hours, 16:00 duration 2-3 hours (shadow tour). Via ferrata very busy on weekends. The difference in hours of duration is due to the number of people who are doing the activity.
EQUIPMENT: Backpack, water and something to eat to regain strength, such as energy bars, nuts, chocolate. Comfortable, resistant footwear with a hard sole, ideal low-cut mountain boot. Comfortable clothes according to the time of year. Cycling gloves (not necessary, but advisable) .

What is included in the price: All the necessary material to carry out the activity (helmet, harness, set via ferrata, safety group material with two different measures depending on our needs.
