We have prepared for you the ability to test different difficulty levels, from the smallest member of the house to the more daring and adventurous, alone or in a group of friends.
We offer these exciting canyoning levels, so that you can enjoy the one that suits you best:
Level 0: Water Trekking - Low difficulty activity that can be enjoyed by the smallest of the family. The main difference with this canyoning activity is that this activity will not require rope and harness, but for the most intrepid of us, they will experience jumps of different heights. The minimum required age for the activity is 8 years. Also required is the ability to know how to swim alone.
Level 1: Low difficulty activity that all family members can enjoy (from the smallest of the family to the eldest). At this level you get equipped with a safety harness. The height of the rappels (descent with ropes) ranges between 4 and 9 meters tall. The height of the jumps are between 4 and 5 meters maximum (no jump is required though). The slides are horizontal with a small gradient in the case of the Osor. Minimum age for this exciting activity is 8 years. You are required to know how to swim.
Level 2: Low to medium difficulty activity, but with all emotions under control. This level of canyoning is suitable after a level 1 or if you're adventurous realize it would be no problem as the experienced first ravine. The height of the rappels (descent with ropes) is of a maximum of 28 meters height. The height of the jumps is between 3-7 meters maximum (however, no jump is required at any time). Waterslides maximum height is that of 14 meters. Minimum age for the activity is over 10 years of age. You will be required to swim.
Level 3: High difficulty experience, but with all emotions under controlled. This level of canyoning is ideal after you have minimum experience with level 2 activities, and never recommended if it`s your first experience. At this level there is no possibility of escaping back to your comfort zome. The height of the rappels (descent with ropes) goes high up to 20 meters. The height of the jumps is that of maximum 4-9 meters (no jump is required). Waterslides maximum height is at about 20 meters. Minimum age for the activity is 12 years. Ability to swim required.
Level 4: This challenge is a high difficulty activity which requires you to be in a good shape. The activity can be extended to a time duration of over 10 hours between the access gully and return. This level of canyoning is ideal and suggested only after you have experience with level 2 activities. At this level there is no possibility of escaping safety havens. The height of the rappels (descent with ropes) is up to 30 meters tall. The height of the jumps range between 4 and 12 meters (no jump is required). Waterslides maximum height is that 20 meters. The minimum age for the activity is 14 years. You are required to be able to swim.
Canyoning activities performed with Adventure Girona comes with the requirements to be equipped with state of the art wetsuits, 2 (two) specific pieces of abseiling from the Seland company brand, robust and inner Titanium fabric for added warmth and comfort. Children's wetsuits are 1 (mono) piece, plus the thermal shirt or neoprene shorty, so good thermal protection and ease is always guaranteed to put on and take off the neoprene. Safety helmet and harness with descender and double anchor out are also required. The socks (neoprene socks) are necessary when the temperature of the water is cold.
All the multi-activities that Adventure Girona offers are covered by an accident insurance as well as by the civil liability scheme, as required by the regulations in force that regulate Physical Sports Activities in the Natural Environment (Decree 56/2003).
