Canyoning Nuria Girona Catalonia
Adventure Girona dares you to go canyoning in the heart of the Girona Pyrenees, more specifically in the Ripollès region. We will do the most important ravine descent in the province of Girona and one of the most interesting in Catalonia, the Gorgues de Núria. A beautiful ravine both for its route and its surroundings, located an hour and a half from both Girona and Barcelona).
It is a technical ravine with abundant water flow so it is aimed at expert canyoners. Its intense and large tour will put us to the test and will give us strong emotions. A challenge for anyone in love with canyoning. It is necessary to have good abseiling technique and to have good physical preparation. Ravine with very cold water.
SEASON: This activity takes place between the months of July to September.
DIFFICULTY: High – Level 4 (Levels are 0-4).
ADVENTURERS: Able to swim, over 14 years.
MEETING POINT: Queralbs, at 09:00 at the train station La Cremallera - View Map
PARKING: 15 minutes from the meeting point. Participants will follow the guide's car in theirs.
DURATION: 4-5 hours from when we meet until we say goodbye (presentation of the activity and delivery of material 30 minutes, access 60 minutes, activity in the water 4-5 hours, return 30 minutes).
EQUIPMENT: Swimsuit, closed sneakers, towel and spare clothes and shoes for the return trip, sandwich to eat

What is included in the price: All the necessary material to carry out the activity (wetsuit, harness and helmet), qualified guide, photographic report as well as civil liability and accident insurance.

The canyoning carried out with Adventure Girona is done with the latest generation wetsuits, two-piece specific for canyoning from the Seland brand, robust and with interior Titanium fabric to provide greater warmth and comfort. Children's wetsuits are one-piece, plus thermal shirt or shorty neoprene, in this way a good thermal protection and ease when putting on and taking off the wetsuit is guaranteed. Helmet and harness with descendant and double anchor rope. Booties (neoprene socks) are provided when the water temperature is cold.
All the multi-activities that Adventure Girona offers are covered by an accident insurance as well as by the civil liability scheme, as required by the regulations in force that regulate Physical Sports Activities in the Natural Environment (Decree 56/2003).
