They are aimed at all those who want to start or improve in canyoning. The course is aimed at those people who want to start and seek autonomy when doing a ravine.
Or for those people who already perform canyons normally and wish to polish their technique by acquiring the necessary knowledge to descend canyons of medium-high difficulty and high water difficulty, with adequate safety and leading a group. In this case, it is necessary to know how to rappel autonomously, effectively and safely to make the most of the course and also enjoy it.
The course setup is divided into theoretical and practical classes. In the introductory course you will learn to recognize the different elements of canyoning and the basic safety techniques of progression. And at the end of this course you will be able to do canyoning with autonomy, efficiency and maximum safety, both yours and that of your companions.
In the Adventure Girona improvement course, you will be provided with the knowledge to expand safety maneuvers and be able to find solutions in those unforeseen events that we have encountered in the middle of a rappel, recovering a rope, etc. For this, the students in the canyoning will be the ones who will install and carry out all the necessary safety maneuvers at all times.
Adventure Girona, in its initiation and improvement courses will provide participants with endless sensations such as: rappels of different heights, jumps, slides, pools with crystalline waters, areas of chaos, areas with currents ... and they will be subjected to very varied situations, with the intention that you discover the maximum about this sport.

Aventura Girona will look for the best conditions to carry out the course, due to this the ravines of the 2nd and 3rd day will be decided based on the season and rains of the year and the physical and technical level of the participants.

MEETING POINT: depends on the chosen course.
MEETING TIME: 9:00
DURATION: All day. 9:00 to 17:00, stopping 30 minutes to eat.
EQUIPMENT: Two-piece neoprene and booties, harness with five safety carabiners and descender, helmet, canyoning backpack, semi-static rope 40 or 60 meters, swimsuit, sneakers, towel, spare clothes and shoes, food and drink for the day.
GROUPS: For a good training the courses will not exceed 6 people per guide.
RENT: Possibility of renting the specific individual material for 30 euros from Adventure Girona.
